No price has been announced yet but I am guessing it will be in the area of $500...Have any of you been disappointed because of the view ability limits of the iPad?

and as you suggested the challenges are there in all similar screens and in my opinion a distinct disadvantage in their use.
The design engineering community needs to address this shortfall to enhance the useability to the consumer. Of course the technology has not yet grown to that capacity within the markets cost tolerance.
I recently suggested to one manufacturer, of a similar screen device to be used in sunlight, that a simple momentary button push to increase the readability of the screen for a few seconds would greatly help in my use.
If the consumer demands more, the technology will step up to it and we should not be afraid of being accused of making mountains out of molehills.
