Its a badge, not a crest. Though RAF Stanley was never issued an offical badge (The rules require a minimum expected operational life of five years for the unit for an offical new badge to be issued if memory serves), the unit is allowed to use the image from the centre of its command's badge and the the command badge motto instead. Thus techincally the Strike Command badge with Royal Air Force Station Stanley writing in the roundel is offical.
