I'm not sure Stanley ever had a crest. Here's a link to the RAF Mount Pleasant Station crest if it's any help: File:RAF Mount Pleasant.jpg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thanks Sun, but I have a picture of myself at RAF Stanley in front of a crest, it was obviously locally produced but I'm not sure if it was ever an official crest.
Obviously not the greatest photo but the motto looks like "Defend and Strike".

Given that the Motto appears to read "Defend and Strike", I would guess that it represented Strike Command, not RAF Stanley:-

Its a badge, not a crest. Though RAF Stanley was never issued an offical badge (The rules require a minimum expected operational life of five years for the unit for an offical new badge to be issued if memory serves), the unit is allowed to use the image from the centre of its command's badge and the the command badge motto instead. Thus techincally the Strike Command badge with Royal Air Force Station Stanley writing in the roundel is offical.
For example Woodvale's badge is based on the old Support Command Badge
RAF Woodvale - RAF Station Homepage
as is that of RAF Mildenhall
While Donna Nook is based on the Strike Command one.

The rules on formation badges are in Chapter 7 of AP3003 which is on the RAF web site and are basically as follows:
All RAF formations whether classified as operational or not can apply for the grant of a badge provided they have their own separate establishment, number not less than 75 personnel, have been in existence for 5 years and expect to continue for at least a further 5 or exceptionally, have made some conspicuous contribution to honour of the RAF. When a unit is too small to have its own badge it is permitted to use that of the Command to which it belongs, substituting its own name for that of the Command.

If you do want a comprehensive list of stations with badges, you could do worse than this as a starting point. I believe that they have the comprehensive list of badges as authorised by the Chester Herald (although there does appear to be a couple missing from their list - 1312 Flight, 1435 Flight).
It does at least list those stations that have been granted a badge (although a few are still in need of sponsorship if the Trust is to meet its objectives, including a few current station - cough, Brampton, Fylingdales, Gibraltar, Halton, cough, cough, Linton-on-Ouse, St Mawgan, cough).

40 Sqn - "To Sweep the Enemy from the Skies" ... but it does indeed look more like a tickling stick than a broom!
"Ken Dodd's Own" is really No 1913 (Knotty Ash) Squadron of the Air Training Corps. (Yes, Knotty Ash is a real place) Ken Dodd is the Hon Squadron President, and lives adjacent to the Sqn premises (and supports them very well!)

FIADGE
There was no official Stanley stn crest per se, but many, many unofficial ones. I think Able Labels must have made a bomb. As the engineer for FIADGE Support (83-84), ours read: "FIADGE the unit truss, another fine mess you've got me into Stanley".
