Impulse BNE Base to Open!
Hello everyone....
You have all been asking for so long....
Impulse is to open a combined BNE/OOL base (mostly BNE flying. Just reserve/ad hoc out of OOL I think) of 15 Pursers and 40 Flight Attendants from late April. The positions will be filled from the downsizing of HBA, MEL and SYD.
There is also a transfer list a mile long for existing crew to head northwards. Still if you want to be BNE based you can now apply and list it as a preference. I think they will hold people who are successful but don't get there number 1 base until a position opens.... Or do they force you to go wherever?
There are special work rules imposed by the FAAA regarding the split base arrangement to make it very fair for those concerned.
