yanbancypilot:

i guess you're one of those types are unhappy no matter how good the offering conditions may be... IMO you have a reall problems with life in general as with you last thread (#50) ...
you just love degrading not only individuals, organisations, cultures but national identity as well because THEY DON'T suit you mode of thinking .. WAKE UP MAN ..you AIN'T THE 'SULTAN' of Aviation NOR are you The Einstein of it either...... looking at your previous posts ( yes some posts and threads had been deleted for the record)concludes me to believe you're a serial whiner with only about a bee's poop of real objective information...

The Turks are not bad people but they just can't get out of their own limits set between delusional otto"manic" dreams of a political Islam hegemony in the Middle East on one side and xenophobic ultra nationalistic kemalism on the other
why on earth are you so delusional or turkophobic beats the hell outa me?? i been in the company for over 4 years now and may be out of say 5000 people i find one who may be a over patriotic type ( but not a surprise as most locals have military backgrounds) are you saying this is not normal?? ... AND NEVER HAVE I CAME ACROSS A OTTO-EXTREMIST?? it think thats you magicianry/imaginary (hard to tell the difference some time from you replies) procrastination rather than actual facts .

as i said in my previous post in another thread ( that got deleted BTW mmm???) Turkish Airlines may not be ideal solution for some (like you yabancipilot) but at the end of the day when you do a pro's and con's analysis its a better option for what out there ... let me say it again NOT the IDEAL SOLUTION but a BETTER OPTION .. for some one, wanting to have a job in the first place or be close to home or fly a young fleet may be compelling factor??

the problems you encounter here are not unique to THY, operators all over the world have the same issues ,... you think locals within the asian , middle eastern, african and south American carriers don't have same issues when an outside culture enter into their backyard? i have even experienced this in many western operators as well... so may i suggest to get over your imperialistic views and you're hell bent attitude of if you can't change or understand them then s*it bag on them attitude and try to Understand and integrate.. at the end of the day it is their Airlines and WE ARE JUST VISITORS and when the time comes, be it THY factors or better opportunities, we will move on..

.the poorest I have ever seen
so you just assume the whole culture and the people in it are really poor aviators and you by some divine notion are the 'right stuff'.. hate to poop on your party my friend but i seen a lot lot worse (yes even western cultures too).. is not FAIR or Ethical to make such a assumption and relegate a whole culture to such a status...
yes some have language barriers, then again English is not their NATIVE language so you can probably be abit understanding to this... And YEs they have taken mitigating steps to weed out the unacceptable ones.. remember change is a slow process but it is getting better...

No one of them wants you here
any more than a LHT, AFR, BA fliers for national flag carriers would want foreigners i suppose any flag career would give priority to their the national pilots.
again generalising 'No one of them'

Again stay away and just consider if desperate
consider the options ... some are unfortunately limited in this category... IF YOU'RE DESPERATE there are always other interesting alternatives

YABANCIPILOT: Please answer one question ?
if you thinkg that THY and turkey for that matter, is a place filled with people that can't get out of their own limits set between delusional otto"manic" dreams of a political Islam hegemony in the Middle East on one side and xenophobic ultra nationalistic kemalism on the other. They are a bit pathetic in their stubborn "grandeur" about themselves , about their influence in the world, and about their piloting and English skills..the poorest I have ever seen. No one of them wants you here

Turkey ranked first... of the worst!! In front of Chile...
that THY is not an expat airline
Turkish arrogance prone and ultra- nationalistic attitude

i could go on and on and on and post, even to me as an expat, sometimes your offensive comments...but

i gather you been in the company since 2010-11 its been 3 years and YET YOU'RE STILL HERE after complaining and scaremongering all that time...why???

I find you're a hypocritical serial compulsive complainer who have unrealistic expectations or complain about issues which are not really relevant to information been sought whist making unsubstantiated claims... May be for a change be objective rather than being racially subjective?

EST: PM ill give you a overview on what to expect

to the others THY not the utopian carrier but it is one of the better 'available' options for now...
and all that talk about career longevity, well think if this before 2008 it was unheard of for THY taking foreign F.O let alone DECs but now the intake consists of both and Expat FO being transitioned to the widebodies .. with its orders and growth rate its only a matter of time for expats to be upgraded as the local supply can not keep up with demand .. change is happening (merging of the expat and local seniority and the procedures for transitions and upgrades) but its a slow process.

but remember : We are professionals when we are given a better opportunity, we take it and move on .... until then we compose our professionalism and aid in the change rather than have unrealistic expectations and hinder the chance of others that may need a job that can pay the bills ...
