Sorry mate...

There IS a strip at JCW called "Heck"... cut into the cane fields a half-mile or so from the navaids. As stated above there is a number of hangers and from memory, 2 gravel strips. Can't remember length but landed a C182 comfortably there last October.

Likewise, there is a very very rough strip at BIK, or nearby. Haven't been there myself but the PPRuNer calling himself "BIK116.8" aparrently has. The strip used to serve a village there (I forget its name but it featured on the ABC's "Australian Story" last year) which was cut off by the rising waters of Lake Burragorang back when the dam was built.
