Robin04, take no notice of my bitter and twisted countrymen.

To answer your quite reasonable question. No, not very many airlines these days pay for initial type ratings. Also, at King Air level they are not really 'airlines' . Also, in this part of the world, operators at that level sometimes won't even pay for instrument rating renewals. I can't speak for European King Air operators.

You need to look at either your own country's military or for a cadet scheme attached to a real airline.
