European Training Record Requirement

By word of mouth, I heard that EASA requires commercial operators to show that they completed two training events in an aircraft in the preceding year. I work for a 135 operator, so that's not hard to do. My problem is that if what I heard is correct, it must be two training events in the same aircraft. That makes it awfully hard to have someone current and qualified in two different types to be legal to fly in Europe.

Is anyone familiar with this requirement? Any possibility you could direct me to the black and white, so I can quit wondering about rumors?
