Your chances of "getting a job" might improve with a change in attitude.
Just because you do your CPL instructor rating with an organization does
not entitle you to a job.
There are some schools who still have that mentality but they are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to quality of flight training.
If you want to be the best you can be, you need "experienced and talented' instructors.
Harve's Air is renown in Canada and I'd personally place at the top of the list.
If you do your CPL and or Instructor Rating, at Harve's or other similar top rated school, you job chances will be up to you and your attitude.
I'm aware of several instructors who trained at Harve's and got job offers prior to doing their instructor ride.
Don't expect a job offer at Harve's, if you are offered a job, then that will be a credit to you.
Most schools are looking for instructors and if you have a brand new instructor rating they will be getting on the phone asking all about you at the school where you trained.
Its a very small world in flight training.
