The Canadian Air Force is so small I suspect they provide hardly any pilots these days.
I read somewhere there was a Cadet Program (Air Georgian?) or something.
Basically you pay a ton of money, and if you make it through their hoops you're all but guaranteed a job.
You'll probably be paid peanuts for the first few years but over the long term it would be worth the investment.
What ever you do though... stay out of debt. Debt will kill you since pilots are payed peanuts until they become Captain on something large. I hope you have rich parents. If you do, it'll make things a lot easier for you.
If you don't, you're going to have a much more difficult battle ahead.
Also remember there are way more pilots than planes in this world, and Canada is no exception.
You'll be joining an industry that is often compared to the music or acting industry, and lets just say it has its own unique version of the casting couch.
