A few years ago, I was station manager for a European Airline operating Hajj flights on behalf of SVA. I was living in a hotel in JED. I had Jeppesen deliver the updates to me at said Hotel, and I prepped the spare bags, handed them to the crew on check in and on flight completion the crew handed the old nav bag back to me which was also updated and became the spare set.
