Dear Clunk...
As one of those who live away and who left family and friends on home soil, I thank you for your thoughts! To those who fought and were left behind, and those who were scarred forever in the fight to ensure our freedoms were held intact, and to those who still hold my Country in their hearts, we all say thank you. I won't be in Canada this day, and I won't be in the country I live in with my family. This day will not be marked with any fanfare where I currently sit, nor will the country I work in now acknowledge it. The Canadians who do work abroad, whether by choice or circumstance, are a proud bunch who will celebrate in the best way! Canuck beer (if they can get it or are "allowed" to) a barbecue with all the stuff they like, and they'll talk a little hockey! I wear my Maple Leaf on my sleeve and thank my lucky stars I AM CANADIAN!
Be safe...(aw jeez eh...? Now I'm all choked up...)
