Been watching this space for some time now, but haven't found answer to my question... how does cabin crew work for QR (and also other Gulf carriers) without the knowledge of Arabic language? As I understand there is no requirement for potential candidates to know Arabic in order to be employed by QR (EK,GF). Gulf is very cosmopolitam etc, but there is a number of Qataris and they are flying as well... so, do they all really speak English/German/French etc etc in order to communicate with cabin crew or are there local, Arabic speaking cabin crew among them???
Sorry if I sound silly with this, but ads for ground based staff vacancies usually require knowledge of Arabic... so where's the difference?
