Talking Aer Lingus Trainee Pilot Scheme

For all those who have passed the usual age for airline cadet programs, here's a refreshing change from Aer Lingus.

In their FAQ section and within their recruitment & careers section, it is stated:

<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size="2">
2. What requirements are needed to apply for the Aer Lingus Cadet program?

You must be aged 18 years or over, have a good general standard of education, and be between 1.61 and 1.93 metres in height.

8. What is the age limit?

To apply to Aer Lingus you must be 18 years of age or over. Aer Lingus does not have an upper age limit.

Worth a try possibly...

And then to top it all, on the subject of Direct Entry pilots:

<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size="2">
11. What are the minimum flying hours required for Direct Entry Pilot?

Aer Lingus does not have a minimum hours requirement.
</font>
Seems far too good to be true, but it is there in black and white on their website!

Any Aer Lingus people want to help clarify this one?
