Continuing in the sentiment of the thread, it was really nice to see how genuinely happy HM was over her victory at Ascot yesterday. When you consider the mind-numbing tedium of a lot of her duties that she nevertheless carries on dutifully at an age when many have long since settled for slippers and daytime TV, it is good to see her really enjoying herself.
No doubt the chattering classes will resent her participation in what is an elite sport (as an owner that is) but I say good luck to her
