I think you will find that like me, Parcel works for DHL.
What he/she did was not wrong. It was just trying to help out someone who had asked for info.
It may have been misguided, but it does not deserve the scathing you have given it. By virtue of the fact that DHL are an airline, and that HR Managers are in the business of dealing with job applicants, I for one cannot see the problem.
FYI, I have got several unsolicited phone calls this week from a variety of people who know people who know people who know me. They want jobs too. I wasn't asked? However, seeing as this is a caring sharing career, answered them. However I cannot help as I am a mere low level FO.
