It really is a sad indictment of the way this Company is heading after reading that latest email. Management, may I make three suggestions;
1) Employ the correct number of pilots to fly such a busy monthly schedule. That should allow the removal of 'phantom pilots' in the bid.
2) Remove most of the punitive restrictions placed in CRS and let it do it's job.
3) If you can't get it to work with the 3500 pilots we have, speak to an airline that can. Delta manage it quite nicely with 12,000 pilots doing domestic, International and a massive variation in fleet!
I have a fourth suggestion but I'd get banned if I wrote that here!
