No, sorry..I'm not getting your argument since you haven't really given us any reason as to why that is so.
The offer was on the table, some said yes others said no. You weren't going to change COS no matter how hard you tried and saying no to any offer was certainly not going to strengthen anyones position. In fact an optimist might say that with people taking early Freight Command, it may have moved people up the list for Pax command..albeit limited I agree.
And that inferior package you're on is probably appropriate compensation
