success and failure are strange things to measure. I just wish that the general public could understand that just because you have a CPL and don't fly for QANTAS you are not a failure.
I fell in to the catergory of giving it a try for 10 years then got out and am 30 and in a great career now, don't hate flying just became realistic. Enjoyed flying but on less than 30,000 a year and not alot of opportunites coming up, I am happy where I am now.
I can't tell you how many people don't think you are a real commercial pilot unless you fly for an airline, that ignorance does pi#$ me off.
