Started learning aged 26, married, two children, hocked to the hilt. Had some money, borrowed the balance with in-laws then mother providing security. Infact paid off last of the loan last year aged 45.
Moved when required to gain a better position, with the goal of being emplyed by a regional within 5 years. This goal was achieved .... for a short time. Three retrenchments in 3 years, thousands of dollars out of pocket.
Succeeded by not quitting!
