cheer up mate

Don't despair, its all a question of attitude and perspective. What one person considers 'making it' differs from the next person.

Anyone who has been in GA for a while will have felt the way you do at some point or another, but you should ask yourself what you really want to do. Would you be happy flying a turbo prop? Because the big jets aren't the be all and end all, and newbies getting their licences should know the truth before they get too deep into aviation. Very few pilots make it into the airlines compared to the number that get a CPL.

What else would you do? Desk job? Sure you might take home a few extra dollars, but would you be happy? The choice is yours though.

Ask yourself what your goals are, whether or not you would be happy flying something a bit smaller than a 737, and how much flying means to you.

Good things come to those who wait, things will come good for you in the end.
