Fat chance. The old RW28 threshold is now stand 20. They extended the wrong runway back in 84 but that's a different story. Would be nice to see a new shiny, stripy Selex or Raytheon gracing the concrete and cabbage patch but I think Bridgepoint's money is going elsewhere for now. I love our old, distinctive control tower but I dare say there will come a time when it will have to be replaced. Still if it lasts as long as Heathrow's LEGACY tower it will have done well
