Leeds Radar

The primary radar is NOTAMed as unserviceable until tomorrow afternoon (Friday 26th). I've noticed it hasn't been turning a few times this week. Does anyone know if the shutdowns are for routine maintenance or if something unscheduled has cropped up which requires attention ?

Makes me wonder as this particular radar (Watchman) was installed in late 1989. That is quite long in the tooth in my opinion. Quite a few UK airports with similar-age legacy radars have now replaced them with the likes of the Selex and Raytheon machines, although I know the Manchester Watchman has a bit of time left yet. Perhaps the Leeds Watchman is beginning to show its age. I don't know really, just asking.
