Was in Reykjavik at the weekend and saw the latest Skybus Twotter pass through enroute from Calgary to Cornwall. I won't say new (as Skybus do) as it appears it was built in 1977! G-ISSG is the reg.
Their plan apparently is to operate many more flights from Exeter (up to 5 a day in high season), the thinking being that that's were the fast road and rail links to the southwest end, and that the 1 hour flight in a Twotter from there is preferable to the long drive/train journey through Devon and Cornwall.
They might have a point, and I guess there might be limited opportunities to transfer at EXT from UK and European Flybe Ops.
