Well, my license arrived on my doorstep 30th December, so I guess I was just about the last of 'Class of 2002' - din't think I'd make it for a while.
Anyway, number one on my list was to get over to the States, get the temporary FAA cert, get checked out and do a few solo hours. Just got back from that and it was worth waiting through two years of training! A couple of bad weather days, but got to do a few hours solo and visited some beautiful places.
Anyway, plans for this year include getting checked out on the clubs' Robin and C140, and perhaps even a couple of hours in the Cap-10 (if the C140 bit goes OK). Don't fancy aero's as such, just wouldn't mind a go in somthing I could 'throw about the sky' a bit more than the Warrior.
Also looking forward to my first fly-in at Duxford.
Later in the year, would like to go to Arizona and do some mountain/desert flying. Need to find some work first or I'll be grounded all summer!
Hersh, the regs. to fly in the states aren't that bad when you get down to it - get it done!
