I agree with homonculus (as ever!), he's the doc so he will defo know you are wasting your time with CII.
Have you tried Haywards - remember them?
You'll probably have to go to Lloyds direct (of london) for a bespoke quote if you are finding difficulties.
But there are brokers out there who love this sort of work and many do actually work hard to get you a decent quote.
