I don't know the answer - but it's not my area of specialism.

And I don't mean to sound disrespectful but if your profile is correct and you really are a B777 captain, I would expect you to know.

If there is a regulation or company policy/procedure on the subject, surely you - as the commander of the aircraft - would be aware because you have a responsibility to ensure that the aircraft is 'legal'.

But to answer the question in broad terms, the SARPs require passengers to be made familiar with the location and use of seat belts, emergency exits, life jackets (if the carriage of life jackets is prescribed), oxygen dispensing equipment (if the provision of oxygen for the use of passengers is prescribed), and other emergency equipment provided for individual use, including passenger emergency briefing cards.

An AOC-holder is also required to provide assurance (or something to that effect) that a card is adequate and no doubt most regulatory authorities will require lots more on the topic in the Ops Manual.
