I don't agree at all with the opening comments of this thread.

Like has been said in a few previous posts, we should be pleased that there are people willing to spend time to make Pprune happen. Many of us would feel 'out of the loop' if it were to disappear.

I've had my fingers burnt on a couple of occasions by talking politics in the wrong place. It is all too easy for people to become 'wound up' by a thread and start ranting without really thinking about what they are saying. If it could land someone in trouble then it should be removed or the perpetrator told off.

I am guilty of all of the things mentioned but wont be again (touch wood). If I want to make a political statement, I'll run in the local elections, If I want to talk crap and offend people then I'll get a life.
