How long have you been reading PPRuNe? And how often do you assume that there is only one explanation for what you see?
If you took any notice on PPRuNe, you would have noticed that it is NOT Danny's policy to shut threads down without saying anything. Usually an explanation is given. If not in the case of one particular thread, it is generally because an explanation has been given time and time again and the Mod's fingers get tired of typing the same message time and time again.
If a thread is deleted without explanation it is almost certainly because the original poster deleted their post, which also removes the entire thread.
Furthermore, as has been pointed out time and time again, PPRuNe is not a democracy, never has been, never will be. It is Danny's train set and he gets to say how people play with it.
