Good thing we still make such a production of learning ADF procedures during initial IFR training and all flight testing
The last time I did a for real NDB in IMC conditions with only the ADF for track information (ie no GPS) was 1994. The next time I will be required to do a ADF approach will be in my next recurrent training and pilot proficiency flight test in March 2013
