I am happy too pilot's pal. The day I found myself complaining, I carried out a serious evaluation of my future career. What would have meant moving or staying. I decided that it was worth trying to change for better pastures. We don't get any younger, and this is a very important data in the equation. In my case, the most important question was: "will I be able to carry on here until retirement?" because I love my job and wouldn't do anything else. The answer being definitely "no", I moved on and I am glad I did. But remember, I changed for something better. There's no point on changing from a company X to go Y when X=Y.
