I am well out of it now.

All I can say, if you really, really need information about Nigeria, is that you should go to the the website for the foreign service for whatever country you are a citizen of, and look up what they say about Nigeria, whether traveling there is a good idea or not.

If you still have any questions after that, go to the BBC News and read what is in the news about Nigeria. I can sum some of that up: Seven foreigners were just kidnapped there, up north. Last week, I think it was, a ship was hijacked, in the south. Not long before that, there was trouble again in Jos, which is sort of in the middle.

Except for trouble in the north, the south and the middle, though, I haven't heard about much other recent trouble in Nigeria.

We used to say, "Oh well, at least Abuja is safe." There was a very messy bombing there that you might as well look up, while you are at it.
