Just a quick word for the IPA.
There are folk out there who have needed legal help, and BALPA have not given a toss.
This includes the worst type of abuse of flight safety by UK airlines, that has the potential to affect us all.
This may not be typical, but the IPA have stepped up to the mark when, as I say, BALPA stand and watch.
I'm a member of both, and am aware of the limitations. I have been let down by the main union a number of times, and can only speak highly of the IPA.
If BALPA were truly effective, why the need for any breakaway union??
