Infact NW used to serve BOS daily in the 80`s what happened to that route?
The market was flooded with AA GLA-ORD, BA GLA-JFK, AC GLA-YYZ and finally UA GLA-IAD, all serving the US over their gateways. Also, NWA closed long haul from BOS so it wasn't just GLA that was dropped, coupled with the DC10 being two large for the winter months. There was always talk of the B757 being deployed but it was not to be.
Prehaps DL to BOS in the future
Alas DL tried both ATL and JFK from EDI, BOS has a fraction of the connectivity of these airports so I don't see BOS as likely.
