Local doc here $250 + + + but at least he has ECG and Audiogram on site, so only need to do bloods a week before, and all is good! a trip to the big smoke would cost more than that just for petrol and parking!
Once you are over 50 it's not so much what it costs, it's that stamp and re validation that is sweet. I have my once a year heart clogging feed of KFC on the way home from medical, than back on the cruciferous veggies and 'lean' meats. WTF is the point of roast chook with NO SKIN??? that's the best bit FFS!
CASA fee for ...for ...for exactly what? other than 2 minutes of paper shuffling vetting the Doc's forms, a single printed sheet and a postage paid envelope! i wish i was on the same hourly rate as that!....empire building parasites... i hope they all have heart attacks,... ,or at least fail an AOD test...( a test where a fail is a POSITIVE result)
