Did your skills test examiner tick the box to say you are level 6 for English proficiency? If so, then you are all good. If not, then it's best to get the examiner to tick the box.
You can't tick the box - it has to be an examiner. Although the new SRG1157 doesn't make it difficult for an applicant to do this. On the previous version of the form, the examiner had to sign separately in the language proficiency section.
Also, it's worth a phone call to the CAA to see if you are already level 6. It appears from another forum that some people have a level 6 without knowing it.
