Leon - I can understand your point of view, but I don't think it's too bad. All it means is if I want to go FTRS, I will have to wait until my 55th birthday, take my full pension & gratuity then move across. There is little total benefit from leaving early on 05 as the pension is abated to cover the 2nd EDP. Trouble is, it does feel good having that 2nd gratuity aged 65.
And of course my salary & pension are higher, and have been since 2005, than if I had not moved over to 05.
