Where is the best place to sit
1) The humerous answer to this is anywhere except an FR flight, of course.
2) The serious answer is that it doesn't matter as the flights are mercifully short in duration. Getting on later means spotting the seat-back-kicking kid(s) and not sitting in the seat in front of them. Unfortunately this also means that you will have probably to sit next to a shellsuited overweight unwashed arm-rest-hugging lady on one side while having your aisle elbow abraided by the trolley ladies on the other
assuming I am not desperate to get off the plane as soon as it touches down?
Not a good assumption to make as you will find out for yourself ! It's rather like the starting grid of an F-1 race; those at the front get away cleanly, while those behind..............
