Io non solo ti davo ragione ma specificavo ulteriormente che il risparmio di consumi con la spinta massima in salita si estende al trip fuel (ossia alla tratta intera).
Dal nostro Boeing Flight Crew Training Manual:
CLIMB
REDUCED THRUST CLIMB
Engine service life may be extended by operating the engines at less than full climb rated thrust.

Note:
Use of reduced thrust for climb increases total trip fuel.
