My friend seems like we have the same destiny.I've also worked in Africa on 737 when i was called to do an interview at Gatwick OAA.It was great opportunity for me to get my ass back to Europe....my interview had exactly the same flow....i haven't been called to the sim assessment either....I can tell you how they pick their crew : JUST FIND SOME GOOD CONNECTION
Later on i found out ....how the things work.I was stupid enough to go there and hope that I'm gonna pass easily and that everything is just fair
23 people on the assessment first day 50 % dropped,tomorrow 11 on the sim 2-3 of them get an offer.One of them is 37 years old cadet who flew diamond as FI .....
funny indeed.They discard Alitalia pilot with 11 000 h who's TR on A320 ...i don't wanna mention that he flew 767 for 11 years...
