Haselled, if you are prepared to pay 8500 pounds for a rating, a 1900 would be the last thing I would be looking at most certainly when there isn't a garenteed job to go to at the end of it. That price is what we would say is a complete rip off. Look around especially in other countries out side of Europe e.g NZ and Australia, for the same price you could just about purchase a rating in a 737 or something similar, which would give you opportunitys way further a field. For your investment you have to look at the return you will receive.
