I have contacted both companies and they do indeed provide the rating. DAT can do it now, but the other training facility will probably only be able to offer the type training in around two months time, due to lack of aircraft. Not cheap though.
Around 5 hours in the sim. and 5-8 hours in the a/c is around£8,500 sterling.
Do you know if Falcon can provide type training under any circumstances? Or is it an absolute necessity to have a type rating before any potential offer of employment would be forthcoming?
