Most dont have the time.. since these new CPL guys and girls only have 250hrs... there is no time building for these guys in malaysia unlike the USA.. I guess most dont want to be flight instructors or turbo prop driver most want be behind a320...

Sadly there are a lot of CPL guys in malaysia..a few years ago when UNcle TF had planes coming and it expanding its network.. it was easy..ish to get a job with AirASIa and MAS.. Now the TF has halted his expansion. and MAS is in trouble.. (some how back in the RED again) the bubble has burst. So thousands of CPL are waiting for uncle TF..to enlist them.. always there is a job as a flight attendant in AA.. walkin interview..

there is not much out there... maybe MASWING..(if know someone) transmile berjaya air. but slim pickings..


OK I thought of one... try SUSI AIR in indonesia.. they always looking for pilots even CPL. SHe is actually getting more planes.. u get paid in USD and free housing...


even Qatar (second officer) program requires:


Second Officer (Fast Track)

Valid ICAO ATPL or Frozen ATPL (ATPL Theory Passes/Credits and MCC)
Valid Class one medical
English language proficiency level 4 or greater.
Not older than 40 years at the time of joining Qatar Airways;
Experience commensurate with age;

Meets the flying experience listed below:
A Minimum of 1000 hrs on a modern multi pilot, multi engine, turboprop aircraft greater than 12,000 kg MTOW; or
A Minimum of 300 hours on a multi engine, multi crew jet aircraft; or
A Minimum of 1500 hours on a multi crew multi engine helicopter;
A Minimum of 2000 hours Pilot in Command on single engine, single crew aircraft .



Flydubai...

B737 type rated first officers

B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) endorsed within the last 24 months.
At least 1,500 hours total flying time.
At least 500 hours on B737-300 to 900 (NG/EFIS) type aircraft.

Non-B737 type rated first officers

First Officers – must have 2,500 hours total flying time, of which 1,000 hours must have been gained on modern (EFIS) multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft over 10 tonnes operating weight (preference will be given to those with PIC time).
