This from one of my very experienced Pilots.
As far as I am awarefrom different types of helicopters I've interacted with, the principlefunctioning of the systems SAS/SCAS/ASS (stability augmentationsystem/stability control augmentation system/augmented stability system) is allthe same. There may be a few very minor differences hence the difference intheir naming but this also primarily comes from the fact that they are producedby different manufacturers. End result as far as the interaction of the trimsystem with these stability systems is all the same and for the purposes of theEASA question, the proper explanation would cover all three varients.
