Thanks for the reply - JAA will convert an FAA licence at present, but you need to do a JAA medical to go with it.
It would not be much use for me as I meet the FAA Class 1 medical standards, but not the JAA.
I was originally hoping that the JAA medical standards(eyesight) would be brought into line with the FAA but no action seems to be happening on this.
