The 'engine' contribution to thrust is carried on the turbine blades which, contrary to one of your earlier posts, behave very much like a multi-stage propeller.
The turbine
removes energy from the exhaust gases in order to power the compressor. In no way does the turbine provide thrust, so the propeller analogy is wrong!
