I know you've been here forever, but that doesn't allow you to treat fellow human beings, let alone fellow employees, with such contempt. We do our job, the engineers do theirs, and for that matter, the ground staff and cabin crew do theirs. I would suggest that you show some common courtesy, and stop asking what people can do for you.
Sure, being granted a jumpseat is a privilege, but I would suggest that being able to help your fellow worker is also a privilege. Personally, I find it very satisfying to be able to help out people that need it. Maybe it's just me.
