It's not fair to blame the parents. These kids were training to be pilots and responsible for safety and making serious descisions. Should it therefore be the responsibility of said child to weigh up the risks? It's ok for them to fly hundreds of souls and many tonnes of aircraft but they can't see the risk and couldn't find one of the many posts regarding paying up front. I honestly believe some people just wake up one random morning and say "daddy I want to be a pilot, can you cough up £80k-£100k, thanks".
The fact that a company who charges Europe prices for a Florida cost base can fail to money is beyond me.
