Nothing to do with what I'm paid to do, a lot of crews ask for things that have nothing whatsoever to do with what I'm paid for, most are polite and courteous when doing so, we aim to please, even if it means going out of our way to accommodate them and their requests, it's not difficult but it can detract from what I'm there for, crew bus fails to turn up for instance, capt/fo has a train or flt to catch, can you just take me to the terminal.
Of course, never mind the 4ft of snow and that I've been here 12hrs already, got to service your late inbound flt. But hey ho I guess these little things don't count for anything these days, well for some anyway. Some just expect. Guess its not like the good old days anymore.
Anyway I'm out of here got a jumpseat to fix! (which is part of my job).
