It's not the pay which is the real problem - The problem is the airline doing the recruitment. On the face of it, the numbers may look excellent to the company, but like one of Blair's crappy PFI schemes, the liability in human terms is "off balance sheet."This because I'll suggest that the suckers to sign up to this will have debts they can barely afford, families they can not repay and living expenses they can not meet. To make ends meet they either do a second job, live in the back of a car or scurry around in a "crash pad' like a rat. Either way, it unlikely a pilot paid as little as this will be properly fed, rested or have a positive attitude when they turn up for work. The price will be paid ultimately by the employer in a either a sick employee, one who (quite reasonably) runs without notice for a better job or worst of all, one who is not capable of performing correctly at a time when he really has to. You can imagine the consequences for yourselves.

PS: How about filling up the scumbag recruiters mailbox? I'm applying right now!
